During October 2014, we conducted the campaign of geotechnical and geophysical investigation for the photovoltaic solar plant project in Kenya. Have been developed the following activities:
- PANDA 2 Variable Energy Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests Penetration tests.
- Construction of stratigraphic columns and sampling by trial pits.
- Electrical tomography profiles for obtaining resistivity measurements for the dimensioning and installation of the electrical facilities.
- In situ resistance cutting tests by Vane Test.
- Corrosivity testing ground for galvanized steel, according to ANSI / AWWA C-105 and DVGW GW9 classifications.
- Characterization of geothermal levels detected and zoning study area based on their thickness.
- Checks the E.L.U. and E.L.S. for different foundation solutions for each study area.
