PULL-OUT TEST CAMPAIGN FOR MAJOR SOLAR PROJECT IN PERU SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

GEOINTEC has carried out engineering and execution of Pull-out test (POT) to evaluate behavior of the solar tracker in relation to bearing capacity of the ground in the development of this solar photovoltaic energy project.

GEOINTEC demonstrate its commitment to solar park engineering by spearheading the Pull-out test campaign for a photovoltaic project in the Moquegua region in Peru

The campaign presented unique operational challenges that were addressed through meticulous planning and coordination. The teams must meet demanding deadlines while adapting to the specific characteristics of the Moquegua region, in addition to the challenging climatic conditions of this semi-desert environment.

What have we focused on? the company’s approach has been to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of local pile driving equipment and machinery providers. Consequently, the most suitable providers have been carefully selected to guarantee project success, while technical direction and engineering expertise are being provided directly from GEOINTEC’S headquarters in Madrid, Spain.

This strategy ensures that both the project schedule and technical work protocols are met with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

GEOINTEC’s services portfolio encompasses all soil studies required for solar plant development and construction. The company’s capabilities include geotechnical, topographical surveys, in addition to hydrological and hydraulic studies and Pull-out tests
