GEOINTEC has launched a new Pull Out Test (POT) campaign in northern Chile as part of its continued expansion in the renewable energy sector. Our company has now completed more than 300 projects across both Utility Scale and PMGD (Small Distributed Generation) solar farms, establishing itself as one of the most technically robust references in the Latin American market for this type of geotechnical testing.
The firm operates with its own specialised engineering teams and locally deployed machinery developed in partnership with Maqtrans. The operational deployment includes more than 12 active driving rigs across Chilean territory, ensuring agile and efficient response capacity to meet the growing demands of the photovoltaic sector in the region.
Engineering parameters determined through the Pull Out Test.
The Pull Out Test is a fundamental technical procedure for validating foundation solutions in terrains with complex or variable geological characteristics. Through the systematic execution of these tests, GEOINTEC precisely determines the following foundation engineering parameters:

- Refusal and driving times : Analysis of refusal, pile driver feasibility, and execution method percentages.
- Load and ground displacement : Recorded load and ground displacement for each load step and lateral/vertical load cycle.
- Structural tolerances : Analysis of experienced loads producing key structural tolerances under analysis.
- Validation and success rate : Recorded success percentage and validation of the adopted foundation solutions.
- Zoning and recommendations : Definition for validated zones and technical recommendations for unvalidaded areas.
