GEOINTEC has successfully completed the geotechnical study for evacuation line and substation of a solar park in the Dominican Republic. The nearly 4-kilometer route is designed for a 138 kV SC insulated transmission line to connect with the National Interconnected Electrical System (SENI), located in the northwest region of the country.

Stratigraphic Analysis and Physical Soil Properties
This geotechnical study for evacuation line and substation aims to define the underlying stratigraphy and physical properties of the soil layers in order to carry out foundation analyses. The work includes bearing capacity and potential settlements for shallow foundations, as well as the allowable load capacity (compression, tension, and lateral) for deep foundations.
These results will inform the foundation designs and earthworks for the proposed facilities, ensuring structural stability and operational efficiency of the renewable energy infrastructure project.
