GEOINTEC accomplishes the study of Contaminated Soils and Hazardous Substances for 2 photovoltaic projects of 50 MW each one, located in northern Jordan, where GEOINTEC had previously carried out geotechnical studies for the construction stage.
The study took place last December 2016 on a research area of 277 ha.
Such studies are especially recommended in areas that have been exposed to recent anthropic external factors (wars, factories, land use, etc.) that can affect both the construction and the viability of the solar plant.
The proposed study aims to detect possible structures, weapons, armaments or archaeological remains that could be buried, and determining the presence of soil contamination with chemicals not detected so far and that could affect the construction and operational phase of the plants.
