In recent years, Geointec has participated in more than 500 solar PV projects, of which more than 150 are large-scale PV plants (200 to 1500 ha), distributed in more than 30 countries on 5 continents.
Much of this success have been achieved thanks to the presence of Geointec in America, through its subsidiary in Santiago de Chile and the commercial office in Mexico.
The opening of the subsidiary in Lyon is aimed at contributing our know-how, experience (23 GW PV projects) and achievements to the European market. Geointec’s new office will focus on photovoltaic solar projects located in Western Europe (mainly in France, Germany and the Netherlands). In addition, a new Orteco Piledriver HD 1000 2020 crawler mounted will be available to undertake ramming and pull tests throughout Western Europe.
In this way, the Geointec flow-chart would comprise: Headquarters in Madrid, the subsidiary in Santiago de Chile (Geointec SPA) that serves the American market together with the commercial office in Mexico (Coahuila), and the new French subsidiary in Lyon, created to cover the European market.
